11月23日，城市与环境学院张洪教授赴京参加2014 UGEC Regional Workshop on China's Industrial Transformation, Urbanization, and Environmental Sustainability国际会议，并受邀请作题为Ecological constraints of urban sprawl and land intensive use model-a case study of Dianchi Lake的专题发言。
The urbanization and Global Environmental Change (UGEC) 项目，是国际人类多维项目里面的一个核心项目，重点研究多维度，跨学科下现在和将来城市的变迁和转化，关注城市的发展。张洪受邀作为发言人在此次国际会议上讲话，表明其科研团队在国际化和前沿化研究中取得了可喜的成绩。
